April 2016 - CONGRATULATIONS to Jorge Sanchez on being selected as BCOE recipient of ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE AWARD!

Jorge Sanchez has been working closely with Cheyann Wetteland, on the synthesis of a thermoreversible hydrogel. He has earned numerous scholarships including the Highlander Excellence Award and the Dr. Manuela and Mr. Randy Sosa Inland Empire Scholarship. Mr. Sanchez has also been a mentor with the Upward Bound program in the larger Riverside community since September 2015, in which he acts as a mentor as well as tutor for a variety of subjects including calculus, biology, and chemistry.
